A Brief History

Clancy Construction has been in construction and development since the 1940s. Originally a traditional family business, the company has grown steadily over the years now and develops large scale projects nationwide.

When 2009 saw a major contraction in the construction industry Clancy Construction responded quickly and decisively. While levels of output were reduced we ensured that our core capabilities were protected and that we maintained our ISO & Safe-T cert accreditations. Our policies have seen turnover stabilise and resulted in the award of significant new projects such as Waterford Regional Hospital’s new Neo Natal & extended A&E units and phase one of the Moyross Regeneration program in Limerick.

We have vast experience in commercial, public sector, and residential development, and we are proud of our reputation for the exceptional attention to detail within our project management and the quality of our work.
